Ms. Akter is a Senior Research Associate at SAJIDA Foundation with over seven years of experience in the research sectors of Bangladesh. With a deep passion for climate change adaptation and resilience, nature-based solutions, and sustainable livelihood, she has also dedicated her expertise to areas such as migration, capacity-building, disaster management, loss and damage, climate-induced mental health, and urban development. Notably, Ms. Akter has spent five years on a transformative livelihood project in the transboundary Sundarbans region. With a keen interest in these areas, she will be providing valuable support in research and project activities for the SOR4D project.
